Alex Worsfold of “Be Well Meditation” guides meditation methods that can help calm, focus and relax the mind with a goal of helping people find their center. His training started in the 1980’s working with a Northern Cree Shaman in Manitoba learning the spiritual and meditative practices of this native culture. Since then he has attended workshops and training sessions focusing on Buddhist meditation, Transcendental meditation, stress management, and how to incorporate Yoga into meditative practice. Workshop’s are intended to help people relax, manage stress and anxiety issues as well as other problems such as dwelling on the past and/or worrying about things that they cannot control. You may know of Alex from a series of meditation sessions taught to employees at the Payroll Center in Miramichi. Alex also teaches classes at Yoga studios in Northern New Brunswick He believes that meditative practice is a journey that can be shared with others in a collaborative way to the collective benefit of a community.
